Dr Renu comes from a modest family in Haryana. She excelled academically in healthcare and secured an opportunity to work in a government hospital. Dr Renu’s journey took a pivotal turn when she met Dr Vikram. “I found my soulmate, Dr Vikram, and we shared not just a life together, but a vision for the future.” They began their professional careers in a small location—their own home in Old Gurgaon—with just five beds and seven staff. Visiting corporate hospitals often made Dr Renu compare their small setup to the high-tech facilities, sparking a dream of building a multispecialty hospital that provided top-tier healthcare while ensuring patient comfort.
As the saying goes, “When you dream big, the universe conspires to help you achieve it.” However, it takes relentless effort and determination to turn dreams into reality. “We spent many nights working hard, taking care of our patients, and taking on the pain ourselves to facilitate them,” says Dr Renu. There are no shortcuts—one must put in unwavering dedication and energy to succeed. Many people abandon their dreams midway due to a lack of direction, but once the path is clear and the commitment is strong, nothing can stand in the way.
Initially, it was just Dr Renu and Dr Vikram, tirelessly working to care for their patients. Over time, their efforts attracted support from the very people they treated. With limited financial resources, they took loans and pooled funds with friends to grow their vision. Slowly but surely, Aarvy Healthcare—a 200-bed multispecialty hospital—became a reality.
“But achieving one goal only opens the door to new ambitions,” Dr Renu reflects. “As we reach new heights, our vision expands. Now, I aim to establish multiple smaller centers—20 to 50-bedded units that serve as feeder points for the main hospital. These could be self-owned or franchise-based outpatient centers, extending our reach while maintaining quality care.”
During their journey, Dr Renu and Dr Vikram also identified a rising demand for high-end birthing centers in Gurgaon. Many affluent middle-class executives prefer a peaceful, boutique-like setting over large hospitals. “Our patients have expressed the need for specialized care in a serene location with world-class treatment. This has inspired us to plan exclusive birthing centers that combine comfort, ambiance, and expert care,” shares Dr Renu.
“Our journey has been one of passion, resilience, and unwavering commitment to our patients. With each step, we push the boundaries of what’s possible, and our vision continues to expand.
