Background
Google is set to open a new AI-focused startup hub at T-Hub in Hyderabad in December 2025. This move comes as part of a partnership between Google and the Telangana government. The program will increase AI-oriented startups through expert advice, market access, and practical programs. The project aligns with Telangana’s plan to become a $1 trillion economy by 2034.
The GfS Hub will connect founders, students, and innovators with Google experts in AI, machine learning (AI/ML), product strategy, and business growth. The initiative will include special tracks designed to support women entrepreneurs, innovators from smaller cities, and university talent. Each year, over 10,000 students are expected to benefit from this program.
Telangana’s government hopes the hub will help launch more than 200 AI and deep-tech startups by next year, with about 30% focusing specifically on AI. The hub is also expected to attract over ₹50 crore in investment through networks from Google and T-Hub.
It will be officially launched on December 9, 2025, under the chairmanship of Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy. Google will implement senior professionals in the field of AI/ML, product design, UX, and go-to-market strategies to give startups and students in-depth sessions.
Additionally, the hub will host AI bootcamps, innovation days, and offer Google’s cloud credits and AI tools to help startups tackle real-world problems in sectors like climate, health, and education.
Google will also bring top venture capitalists from Silicon Valley, Japan, and Southeast Asia, along with leading global corporate innovators, to support local startups.
Officials say the Google for Startups Hub will help Hyderabad to become the next major AI hub in India while encouraging early innovation and stronger connections to international markets.
