IIM Ahmedabad has opened admissions for the second batch of its two-year Blended MBA Program in Business Analytics and Artificial Intelligence. Learners who leave after the first year receive a Postgraduate Diploma in Business Analytics and AI, giving working professionals and entrepreneurs a flexible route.

Director Bharat Bhasker, Dean (Programs) Diptesh Ghosh, program chairperson Anindya S. Chakrabarti and Krishnamurthy Tandon School of AI chairperson Ankur Sinha announced the intake at the campus. Alumna Chandrika Tandon, a Grammy Award-winning musician and business leader, joined virtually. She set up the Krishnamurthy Tandon School of AI at the institute with a Rs 100 crore endowment.

The program runs across six terms. It pairs live classes streamed to learners’ devices with three on-campus modules, so professionals can keep working while they study. Bhasker said the course builds technical skill, independent thinking and managerial responsibility.

Tandon said leaders must pick the right problems and build solutions that create value for the economy and society. Chakrabarti said the curriculum blends mathematical modeling, programming and machine learning with finance and strategy, and participants will use case discussions, capstone assignments and action-learning projects.

Learners can pick electives such as predictive analytics, product management, AI ethics and regulation, generative AI and agentic AI. They get remote access to the Vikram Sarabhai Library.

Applicants need a bachelor’s degree with 50% marks, three years of work experience and a valid CAT, GMAT or GRE score. Diploma holders can return later to finish the MBA.
