Andhra Pradesh and Telangana are getting better air connectivity with the introduction of flights to Tirupati by regional airline FLY91. This is going to be the 13th airport for them. The new flights would operate between Tirupati and Hyderabad, Vijayawada, and Rajahmundry.

The airline has opened bookings for Tirupati flights through its website and travel agency network. With the new destination, FLY91 now serves four cities across Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.

FLY91 will operate daily flights between Tirupati and Hyderabad. Flights between Tirupati and Vijayawada will run four days a week, while services between Tirupati and Rajahmundry will operate three days a week.

The airline said the new routes will support travel along an important religious, educational and commercial corridor. Tirupati attracts millions of visitors because of the Sri Venkateswara Swamy Temple at Tirumala. The city also serves as an important educational, cultural and business centre in Andhra Pradesh.

Manoj Chacko, Managing Director and CEO of FLY91, said the Tirupati launch marks another step in the airline’s regional expansion. He added that the new links will make travel between key regional centres easier and improve access to growing markets.

FLY91 currently connects 13 destinations, including Goa, Sindhudurg, Jalgaon, Solapur, Pune, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Agatti, Kochi, Hubballi, Rajahmundry, Vijayawada and Tirupati. The airline continues to expand its regional network under its focus on improving air connectivity across India.
